About me

Hello, I'm Talip Gönülal. I am a professor of English Language Teaching in Türkiye. My research is on second language learning and language testing, and I did my PhD at Michigan State University in the United States.

I made this site because many students who need the e-TEP find it hard to get good practice material. The best preparation is to try questions in the same format and under the same time limits as the real exam, so that is what this site offers, free of charge.

How the practice tests are made

The practice tests follow the exam structure that ÖSYM has published: the same parts, question types, time limits and levels. Every text, recording and question on this site was written specially for it. They are not real e-TEP questions.

No connection with ÖSYM

This is an independent project. I have no connection with ÖSYM, I do not write questions for the e-TEP, and I have no access to real exam material. The scores you get here are estimates to help you practise, not official results.
