How levels are decided
ÖSYM publishes a minimum score for B1, B2 and C1 in each skill and for the total score:
| Level | Reading | Listening | Speaking | Writing | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| B1 | 9 | 12 | 15 | 14 | 50 |
| B2 | 16 | 18 | 20 | 20 | 74 |
| C1 | 23 | 24 | 25 | 26 | 98 |
e-TEP to YDS equivalency
ÖSYM's equivalency framework converts e-TEP total scores to YDS scores. It works in one direction only (e-TEP → YDS) and only for B1, B2 and C1. Some examples:
| e-TEP | 50 | 60 | 66 | 74 | 80 | 90 | 98 | 108 | 118 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| YDS | 65 | 71.25 | 75 | 80 | 83.75 | 90 | 95 | 97.5 | 100 |
