Before you start
- About 30 minutes, 30 questions, 5 sections: conversations, an announcement, four speakers, an interview, a student discussion, a lecture and a podcast.
- You have time to read the questions before each recording. Press ▶ when you are ready.
- In exam mode each recording plays only once and you cannot go back to earlier sections.
- Use headphones and turn your volume up.
Tips
- Before the recording starts, find the key words in each question.
- Questions usually follow the order of the recording. If you miss one, move on to the next.
- For “NOT mentioned” questions, cross out each option as you hear it.
- Listen for changes of mind (Actually, But, Saturday morning would be better). The correct answer often comes at the end.
